The company Katchem spol. s r.o.. has been established in December 1990.

The first activities consisted in the laboratory production of chemicals, chemical analyses and the manufacture of polyamide casts.

Our current efforts include laboratory and pilot plant preparation of special compounds. We increase potentialities of wide use of our products in industry and research by transfer of laboratory syntheses into pilot plant scale.

Katchem spol. s r. o. is a modern and forward-looking company with a great innovative history and a strategy of developing new techniques and materials based on the results from its own research.

At Katchem spol. s r. o. we focus the majority of our resources on borane chemistry, the development of new materials derived from polyamide-6, research and the development of preparations for cancer treatment using neutron capture therapy, as well as with polyamide powders preparation technology. The company has also developed and produces initiators, and catalytic systems for anionic polymerization and lactams copolymerization. The staff of the company includes experienced experts who hold a number of scientific awards and patents, as well as a team of talented young scientific workers who we endeavour to educate and train in the tradition of our company. Katchem spol. s r. o. is involved in the execution of several Czech and European research projects. The company is a member of the Association of Research Organizations. The laboratories and production premises of the company are situated at the Research Institutes in Řež near Prague
